IPC 2025 Terms and Conditions

  • The Conference is organized and managed by (SCP) International Society for Smart Construction and Production Incorporated.
  • You acknowledge and accept that we have the right to publicly announce our business relationship with you which shall include but not be limited to announcements on social media. Such announcements shall not be disparaging or otherwise adverse to your business.
  • All registrations are regarded complete only having made the full payment prior to the Conference and on site.

Consent to Use Photographic, Video and Audio Recordings

  • SCP official photographers will be taking photographs, recording video or making audio recordings during the Conference. The photographs, videos, and audio recordings will be used for Conference-related activities included in the promotional material, in both print and electronic format, including on the Internet via SCP website and Social media for Conference purpose only.

No Show Policy for Onsite Payments

  • If any participant confirmed his/her participation to the organizing committee by sending the proof (copy of the air ticket) and is not available to present at the conference will not be accepted (Entitled for physical and hybrid conferences).

Copyright & Privacy Terms of Use

Any redistribution or reproduction of part or all of the contents in any form is prohibited other than the following:

  • You may copy the content to individual third parties for their personal use, but only if you acknowledge the website as the source of the material.
  • You may not, except with our express written permission, distribute or commercially exploit the content. Nor may you transmit it or store it in any other website or other form of electronic retrieval system.

Except as permitted by the copyright law applicable to you, you may not reproduce or communicate any of the content on this website, including files downloadable from this website, without the permission of the copyright owner. The owners of copyright in the content on this website may receive compensation for the use of their content by any party or entity without prior approval in written from SCP.

All rights in all presentations, documentation and materials published or otherwise made available as part of the Conference are owned by the Speaker or are included with the permission of the owner of the rights. All such material is protected by the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and other international copyright and intellectual property laws.

SCP understands that your privacy is important to you and we are committed to complying with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles in relation to all Personal and Sensitive Information that we collect from you. 

For details regarding IPC-specific privacy practices, for example, related to how we collect, store and disclose information on delegate lists, what personal information we disclose to sponsors and hotels, and how we manage video and photography at IPC events, please read this Privacy Policy below. 

Governing law

The handling of Personal and Sensitive Information in respect of IPC events is subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). 

IPC data custodian 

SCP is the Data Controller for all information collected through IPC websites, data-capturing forms, social media or any other IPC channels.

Complaints to SCP

Mechanisms for complaint: if you are unhappy about how we have dealt with or are dealing with your Personal Information SCP has procedures in place to deal with your enquiries or complaints.

We will endeavour to respond to you within a reasonable time.  If you are still not satisfied with the way your complaint is handled by us, you are entitled to have your complaint reviewed under the Privacy Act. 

Communication about future AIEC events 

Personal details requested via the registration forms will be used to communicate with you about the event you have registered to attend, as well as notify you of future IPC events.  

You may opt-out at any time from receiving news from IPC by emailing at secretary@isscpi.com or by unsubscribing at the bottom of an IPC marketing email.

Attendee List

Registered attendees will be able to access the Attendee List two weeks before the conference, by downloading and logging into the app. More information on how you can manage your profile or visibility settings on the app will be provided when registration opens on 01 Feb 2025.

The Attendee list will be shared with Major Sponsors and Partners six to eight weeks before the Conference. This list will include the Attendee’s First Name, Last Name, Position, Organisation and State (if in Australia) or Country of Residence. The list will not include any personal contact details such as email, phone or mobile numbers provided for registration purposes. Attendees also have the opportunity to opt-out of being on this Attendee List at the time of Registration.

The Attendee list will also be shared with all Sponsors and Exhibitors four weeks prior to the Conference. This list will also include the Attendee’s First Name, Last Name, Position, Organisation and State (if in Australia) or Country of Residence. The list will not include any personal contact details such as email, phone or mobile numbers provided for registration purposes. Attendees who have opted-out of being on this Attendee List for Sponsors and Exhibitors during the registration booking will not appear on the Attendee List.

Sharing of personal information to third parties

The Conference does not provide delegate lists. Registered attendees can manage their own visibility settings in their attendee profile on the virtual platform.

The information you provide may be disclosed to third parties to the extent that is reasonably necessary in connection with that work. For example, we may: 

  • pass on special dietary requirements to a catering service supplier;  
  • share your personal mobile number with the car driver if we have organised this for you;
  • share sponsor/exhibitor contact details with the venue and other suppliers. 

Disclosure of personal information to technology providers

As part of the registration process, your personal information such as your name and email address may be disclosed to technology providers at the time you register for an event.

Video and photography at AIEC events 

Images of Conference delegates may be recorded by the IPC photographer and film crew when they record various Conference activities, such as sessions, exhibition and social functions. Footage and images recorded are owned by SCP and may be used for publication in hardcopy and/or online to promote future conferences.

Please note we may be recording multimedia images at live events that may identify you personally. If you do not want to be part of this activity, please let us know in advance.

  • If you are unable to attend the conference, we welcome substitute delegates attending in your place at no extra cost provided that we have at least 2 weeks’ prior notice of the name of your proposed substitute and have received payment in full.
  • Registrations that are cancelled 60 days in prior to the conference are eligible for a refund of 75% of the registration fee.
  • Registrations that are cancelled in less than 60 but more than 30 days prior to the conference will be eligible for a refund of 50% of the registration fee.
  • Cancellations made in less than 30 days prior to the conference will not be eligible for any refund.
  • The bank charges incurred while refunding the registration fee should be totally borne by the participants.
  • The discounted registration fees are non-refundable. The fees will be automatically be transferred to one of the future IPC Conferences.
